Hi Neil
I went on my first Cruise last year and never had gratuities de-ducted from my on board account, I tipped the people I thought deserved it. Its all down to choice, I am sure to that you can hire Tuxedos on board, but if you need to know check out RCI website they have frequently asked quiestions and im sure you will find the answer there.

You will get the cruise bug...be prepared as life at sea is so good we booked the week we came home for this year.

Thanks for your reply Liz , here is some more questions , which is the best credit card to register for your on board account so you get the least charges .
Also do get bath robes in your cabin .
would we be able to request a table for 2 in the dining room by contacting rci before we cruise ,or do we have to do it whilst on board , if so what is the procedure for this .

The best credit card for foreign transactions is the Nationwide credit card or the Post Office one as they don't impose any fees and give you the full Interbank exchange rate.

Your best bet regarding a table for 2 is to see the Restaurant Manager as soon as you board.
