Thanks Maz.
I think i saw this hotel on lowcostbeds, but i cant seem to find it.
Did you book direct, or was it a package holiday?
Id love to see the photos, i'll pm you my email address, or you could put them up on the photo album, whichevers easier
Thanks
Nicola
Do you think its going to be the same next season?
We'd rather get flight only, and book our own hotel, but the way things are going, it looks like we'll have to get a package holiday, if this is going to be the cheapest.
We want to go in Dec, but will settle for Jan.
What was December like this season? were the beach shacks up and running in baga/calangute?
Also, did it rain?
Many Thanks
Nicola
up,no rain but colder evenings where you needed a cardigan or pashmina over the shoulders.
on checking flight prices ,charter are way over the top ,best prices with virgin to Mumbai
then another indian airline on to Dabolim

Had a bit of a rethink and i think we'll wait until Feb/March.
Money will be better, and our baby will be a little older.
Try not to leave it to late Nicola we were there the last 3 weeks in Feb this
We took our 4 year old when he was 6months, for 3 weeks in Jan/Feb.
Ive only ever been to Goa in Jan, early feb, and April. I didnt really find April any different from the other months, only i had to keep the fan on all night as it was sticky.
In Jan this year it did get a bit nippy in the evenings, to the point were we had to take our sons blanket out with us in the evenings.
I think you can get cheap flights, if you are prepared fpr stopovers in Bombay, but with young children I should imagine this to be a nightmare !! ANd the direct flights are quite expensive.
These past few years ive managed to find direct flights with firstchoice for around 350pounds per person, but thats booking a few weeks before.
It cost us just over 1200 for 3 of us, so id never pay more than 450pounds per person.
On the other hand, if we do want to find a decent hotel, then we may have to stump up a bit more.
Hi yummy we went in december and all the shacks were up and running it wasn`t chiilli in fact it was all the time, wore t-shirts at night too it was great.
