Hi everyone. Obviously you can tell I love to ski!
I have visited the following resorts and am happy to discuss anything to do with skiing/snow and children (even a combination of the three!)
Resorts:
Obertaurn, Austria
Chiesa, Italy
Soldeu, Andorra
Kaprun (next door to Zell) Glacier, Austria
Passo Tonale, Italy
and this year (in less than 4 wks) we are off to Levi, Lapland for our first taste of skiing in the far north!
We, being myself, husband and child who has now experienced his first time skiing in Tonale and loved it (age just 4). He was skiing blue runs adequately within 6 hrs of tuition.
So thats me and I hope we can enjoy many a chat on my fav. subject!

Don't know if you can help at all but I would love to go to Austria / Switzerland next Feb for half term but not necessarily to ski!
It may sound daft, but after twisting my knee very badly some years back I have a very weak knee and I don't think it would stand the pressure of skiing - I'd probably come home in plaster!
Having said that I'd have not problem with any other type of sport / activity. A friend has suggested cross country skiing. Also, I'd just love the opportunity to see the scenary that time of year. Have been told that it's possible to hire snow mobiles etc.
Any info re what would be on offer in a ski resort for my husband and myself would be appreciated. It's just the 2 of us, no children.
If not a ski resort any other suggestions would really be appreciated.
Thanks
I have answered your thread and will tentatively recommend Levi, Lapland too (as AW did) but cannot comment further till after 13th March when we return to the UK from there!!
Have a great time - let us know how you go!
