More likely to be BH Air from Newcastle, I suspect - Bulgaria Air is a scheduled airline that currently only flies from Gatwick and Heathrow.

BH Air used to give a bread roll with small containers of cold meat/cheese/salad and a cake/biscuit when I last flew with them (2005) but this may well have changed.

Hi kazikay,

Welcome to the board!

You'll find reviews of Sunny Day in our Hotel Reviews section.

A read through recent threads will give you the latest information on prices, e.g. this report, mammabear's post dated June 9th in this thread and this report.

Baldur, just checked at work (i work at Newcastle Airport) and Bulgaria Air have only in the last two weeks started flying from here, they have took on some of the Balkan Holiday routes, although unless you check on the actual ticket, that arrives after your booking you would not know, but i can confirm Bulgaria Air is the carrier. Saw the plane last week on my last couple of shifts and its a plain white aircraft with no markings.

Hi, this could be the Airbus 320 I was on from Varna to Gatwick two weekks ago. It is down as flying from Newcastle on Tuesday's at 1500 using FB8067 as its code. Tonyt.

Hi skhwoody,

In which case, they normally give you a cold meat & cheese sub roll (meat one end and cheese the other) and maybe a small cake/biscuit (assuming that they follow Bulgaria Air's usual in-flight catering routine on UK routes).

Not really surprising that Bulgaria Air/Hemus have taken on some of the Balkan Holidays' routes, given the reported size of the BH Air fleet.

Do they do a sky bar ? or is it only fruit juices ?

Hi Stephen,

Alcoholic drinks (as well as fruit juices, cola, etc.) have been available on all flights that I have taken with Bulgaria Air - both with the in-flight meal and separately.

Cherveno vino i mineralna voda za men, molya.... sorry, just getting some practice in ready for my flight on Friday ;)

Thanks for that Baldur ......hope you have a great time at Baldur Towers ...I shall be in GS a week later. :cheers

We are going to explore a bit more this year as our two youngest are easily bored teenagers :que :cry

Stephen, On the Bulgaria Air flight 2 weeks ago, you got a complimentary drink with your meal, Beer, Wine or soft Drinks. plus tea or coffee. after that it was hostess service on the buzzer and to be paid for. If you are interested on a good trip. try the Bus to Varna, train to Dobrich, bus back to Albena, then Golden Sands. pm me if you want details of time and costs. Cheers. Tonyt

Hi all

Never been to Bulgaria before flying out to Elenite Hotel Andulucia on Saturday dont know what to expect, me the missus and the sprog are going and really looking forward to it.
Cant find many reviews on the hotel or in the area Elenite, but i suppose a holiday is what you make it regardless of good or bad reviews.

We are all inclusive but have heard how cheap everything is compared to rip off UK, any tips on places to go good bars or good food would be appreciated.

Only 4 sleeps to go.
:cheers

Hi Kaz,

Welcome to the board!

Glad to hear that you had a good holiday.

I suggest that you edit your post and remove your e-mail address - inviting people to contact you by PM instead. Your e-mail address posted in an open forum is likely to attract masses of spam.
