Hilton Hua Hin up for sale

The biggest mystery to me in Hua Hin is how this hotel ever got permission to be built. It is a bit of a monstrosity and just far too tall. Totally out of keeping with the area. I could imagine it could easily be turned into condos but perhaps that wont be allowed?
