Spent a week here from 7th - 14th March. My partner works for Thomson so we needed a cheap hotel to go with the cheap flights! We found this hotel on the "Hotels4U" website, which advertises itself as part of the Thomas Cook chain. we didnt actually book the hotel until 7pm the night before we travelled (flight was at 9am next day). The hotel came to just £360 for the two of us, all inclusive!!! Bargain!
The hotel is a nice size, not too big to negotiate and is one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in. Every member of staff including gardeners, cleaners etc all asked how our holiday was going, if we had any problems, if there was anything they could do to make it better. Upon checking out even the manager had a quick word to ask if all was ok with our stay and if we had any feedback.
We got to make very good friends with many of the staff, some of which speak to us now on Facebook and it was very sad to leave! While yes, the hotel isnt a proper 5 star hotel, it was exceptionally clean in all areas, and neither myself or my partner suffered any tummy troubles, and we ate everything (apart from fish and rice which we always avoid on holidays!).
While the choice of food available wasnt as great as in other hotels we have stayed in, it was hot and the chef's were always out there speaking to people, asking how the food was and if we needed any advice with regards the dishes.
Didnt try any of the al-a-carte restaurants mainly because the evenings were a bit chilly and there were a lot of mozzies about. One woman we spoke who had legs like they had been spotted with a red bingo marker. She said she counted 18 bites on one leg the first night from sitting outside! Thankfully we took repellent but one mozzie sneaked into our room at night and ate me 3 times!!!
Was a fab holiday though, weather could have been a tad warmer but it looks like we picked a week when the temperature decided to drop, down to 14 some nights!
Would definately go back however, for the price we paid it was excellent, the staff were fantastic and we had a great holiday. My review can be found on TripAdvisor under the username "GaryH_UK". Will put up photos on my media page sometime this week.
