depends what you want out of a holiday
Calpe is a very nice place but Benidorm it isnt

the hotel you are stopping at is the quiet end of Calpe ,right on the sea front ,excellent views overlooking the Rock

a few Bars and restuarants on the front but the bars are very quiet ,a couple with pool tables but thats it and depends what your kids like but no entertainment that end at all

the beach there is excellent and very clean sand and doesnt get too busy or noisy

the other side of Calpe is busier (probably about a good 20 min walk) but again no entertainment ,only the usual english bars etc
if your looking for a very nice quiet stay with great beaches then this is it ,if your looking for benidorm type nightlife then you have the wrong place
