It certainly does. I have a hard shell on which I prefer to use to bring back bottles of spirits etc which is quite heavy. The plus side is it can take plenty of knocks.

Was it a hard shell one Ray, or a polycarbonate one ???? I've seen a few of them ripped open.

hi Robby this was a hard shell one, hard to believe but true.
bought 2 on the Friday, flight on the Monday, back 2 weeks later and what a state it was in. :shock: :shock: :shock:

I have THIS ONE by Delsey. It has taken plenty of stick and luckily all has arrived home intact - but it's quite heavy, or so the Mrs says :lol: :lol:

I would second Robbie's remarks.We bought a set of Delsey luggage-must be about 15 years ago now- and,though they're scratched and marked and look 15 years old,they are as sound as the day we bought them.
