Hi beezer
I have often been confined to the school holidays & although it's a pain to organise if you can go virtually the day after the day they break up it can be a bit cheaper. There also seems to be a date towards the end of the school holidays that the brochure prices drop, maybe around 15th /16th Aug but it varies year on year. If you are only going for 7 or 10 days you can sometimes take advantage of the price drop & still get back in time for them to be sat at their desks on the 1st day on the academic year. Hope you manage to find something in your budget.

The prices will drop mid-August because the Scottish schools go back then
Thomas Cook also have annex rooms but dont tell you that in the brochure.
Have you looked at the Parkim Ayaz? Its a lovely hotel,on the beach in the centre of Gumbet.
Originally it was 2 hotels but now is one, with loads of facilities.
I have not booked to go this year as its gone AI but its an ideal hotel for families and may be cheaper than the Wow.
Its available with Thomas Cook.
hi jay trip ....I didnt think the vera looked that good either...I did say so....reviews were awful....I just posted those holidays to show how much difference price wise...mooching and tweaking made...and how you also need check a good deal out ...as it mightnt be as good as it first looked....tweetie
When I first visited in 1990 there were no reviews and it was just pot luck as to what the hotel and resort was like
I must admit it was easier than trawling all the review sites and then just when you think you have found somewhere, someone to tells you that you have made a mistake.
I may regret my decision to visit a resort I have never thought of going to but in 8 days time I will be on my way.
Parkim Ayaz is definitely worth a look, the prices will be less that WOW and it is a nice hotel, right on the beach.
