I don't know if you mean that you're looking for somewhere in Benalmadena to stay but how about Fuengriola? I have stayed there lots of times and much prefer it to Benalmadena, mainly because it's flat and is near to the railway station. If you don't want to drive then the cheap, efficient railway that runs from Fuengirola right through to Malaga is a way of getting around. There is a station in Belamadena but it's a long walk from the beach and is up steep hills but the station in Fuengirola isn't far and there are plenty of stops along the way that are right by the beaches so you could go somewhere different every day! The station in Torremolinos is central to the shops but is quite a walk to the beach, there's a shopping centre called Plaza Mayor, just outside Malaga that has it's own station and is worth a visit and, of course, there's Malaga itself.

My husband and I usually stay at the Las Palmeras Hotel in Fuengirola, right behind the harbour and just across the road from the beach. It's got plenty of restaurants and shops around it and is in an ideal position. We always book through Alpharooms and go half board. The food isn't bad and there's usually plenty of choice, but you do have to pay for drinks. The promenade is long and flat so you could get some good walks as well. Hope this helps.

couldn't fault the complex,our grandaughter loved it.

Please help...I can't decide on whether to book an apartment at the benal beach complex in belamedena..or the La Noraleria area of Torrmolines... can anyone give me some advise as wanting to book in the next week or so!

I usually stay up in torrmar area but will not have a car this time???
