hi all.
been searching the forum to see if we have a section for swapping weeks in privately owner apartments/villas etc.
cant seem to find one.
The idea would be if you have say a apartment that you rent out in say majorca ,you could swap a couple of weeks with someone who has the same in say turkey.
then you still get to travel around a bit,without the expence.
have seen this on other sites and works well.
im looking at purchasing in turkey but would still like to visit other countrys every so often.
what do you think ?

This very idea was discussed on here about 2 - 3 years ago but at the time admin decided there wasn't enough call for it to warrant a separate forum, it was suggested it could be done through the private rental forum instead. Dont think anything ever appeared on there though.
We have done two very successful holiday swops in the past, one in Calpe in Spain and the other in France, they were non simultaneous dates and a lot of emails flew backwards and forwards beforehand!
Def recommend it though.
I would consider anywhere, including the UK, you can always say no if it doesnt appeal.

Further to my post, I meant to say including holiday home in UK, not a main residence
Funny enough steve you live exactly where I would need to go to in UK!!!! That's what made me ask
