I've seen some lovely resorts out in the Maldives for a holiday in summer 2011, but the prices seem to fluxuate wildly! How much would you say is a good price for a holiday for 2 people for 1 week in a decent resort?

I guess it depends on whether you want, B & B, HB, FB or AI.
I would say if you want AI you need to be looking at around £1500-£1700pp

Really does depend on what you are looking for.
Do you want a water villa, or standard villa, big island or small, AI or HB, snorkelling or diving, nightlife or quite life, high season or low??????
Might I suggest to try to go for 2 weeks as 1 week is not really enough. Give a bit more info and I might be able to give you a better answer
