Hi, I had a holiday in mind in Benidorm for next July and have checked the price a couple of times over the past few weeks, it has remained exactly the same price. Now, we finally decided to book it today, and I checked it at work, and the price had gone down by just under £200!! I was delighted and rushed home to book it. When I have just come to book it, the price has gone back up again! Why does this happen, do you think it is likely to come down again or was it just a blip? Do you think it is worth me waiting to see if it comes down or not. The Tour Operator is Eclipse, anybody have any inside knowledge?
Thanks, Carol.
Doesn't matter anyway now! Went back on an hour later and it had gone back down, so I booked it. Don't know what happened but never minds.
Similar thing happened to me when I was booking my holiday online with First Choice (same company as Eclipse). Got as far as the confirmation screen and the price jumped! Cancelled out, went back in and tried again 10 minutes later, and the price was what I was expecting (ie back down to the quoted price).
Glad you got your bargain in the end .
Happy holidays,
Elaine
its due to how they upload data files to the servers with all the holiday details in, chances are at those times they were uploading new files, causing the problems.
So after doing research and finding the price i want i do everything to get rid of cookies.
Then i re-boot my comp and sometimes it has come up a bit cheaper. As it then looks like this is my first search.
Just a idea if your looking for a bargain.
