Hi,
I have been looking at both of these hotels and cant decide, my main worry is I have a 14 month old baby, some people have said do not go to Egypt with a little one, I just wondered which hotel is the best out of these two and are they ok for a little one (also have a 4 year old).
Any thoughts, comments or suggestions appreciated
Thanks
karen
You will find a lot of info on the Holiday Village in this existing topic http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=90302 it has been getting a lot of good comments recently.
Similarly there is a lot of info for the Aqua Blue here http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=131367&hilit=aqua+blue
You might wish to also take a look at the reviews for each of two the hotels:

Spotless everywhere.
Some of the rooms needed updating as I asked to have a look at a few different ones.
Lots of Russians as usual but the English are now starting to take over in this hotel.
Food ok with an Indian restaurant as well as others.
Lots of slides kids and adults.
Do not go on the green Shrek slide first otherwise you will probably need a few days before you get on another

Stayed at Aqua Blu for a week in April with 2 friends and had a great time - my only regret was that I didn't take the kids, cos they'd have loved it
Karen - the room we stayed in was new and spotless, good size too and there was a kids play area on the grass outside. Slightly away from the kids waterpark [only about 200yds] and next to the Indian/CHinese/Med restaurants and also the Italian. Our room was 6127 [1st floor] in one of the blocks opposite reception.
I'd recommend it esp for people with young children and wouldn't hesistate to go back there.
Hope this helps you?
Thanks, besides first choice which other tour operators go to the aqua blue?
You could try Cosmos http://www.cosmos-holidays.co.uk/destinations/Egypt/Sharm-El-Sheikh/Sharm-El-Sheikh/Aqua-Blu-Hotel
Also might be worth looking at one of these companies

They went to the holiday village last year
their opinion is that the Aqua Blu can't be beaten
for myself I watched and observed a lot of staff behaviour - it's in my opinion the most hygienic hotel we have been to in Sharm
want to go back now just can't afford it this close to our last visit
from my mobile
