Has anyone stayed at the first choice holiday village in Turkey in late October before? Im wondering what the weather will be like and if all the facilities will be open as it is the end of the season. Any info on this hotel will be gratefully received. Thank you
It is quiet, pools are freezing and i mean really freezing, we left the day it closed for winter and the last few days were a bit boring. the weather is nice during the day but chilly at night
How rude and ignorant. Not every loud brit has a tattoo.
Does anyone know the answer to these two questions:
1. Is there any wi-fi access?
2. Is there 3G connectivity in the area?
Thanks
Do you get complementary pool side towels?
Hi just wondered if anyone could help, am looking at booking hv and if anyone has recently been could they let me know if the village is still split into the two hotels , i have asked at 2 different first choice shops but was given a different answer at each, one said with first choice you would be allocated the palace side where as the other said it was one big village and you could be on either side any info would be appreciated. The reviews are very mixed on this property so i am still deciding whether to go for this property or not, any info from anyone who has visited this year could help make up my mind.
If you want my opinion....choose somewhere else
Has anyone returned from holiday here recently please? Are Sargermie tours still in town? Market still on a Sunday? Any other handy hints or tips?
Sarigerme tours are still there.
The market is on Sunday.
There are 3 tour operators in Sarigerme, we used Basket travel for trips to Dalyan mud baths and to see the turtles cost £20 and was good value also include lunch. We also visited Fethiye market for £8.
If you are at the village and want a good sunbed on the front row of the pool you need to be up at 3.00am (and i am not joking). The beer at the bars is very weak (marmara34) you also get very small measures of spirits. Overall this is a very good hotel most of the staff are friendly and helpful. There food is good in the main restaurant and there are 3 other a la carte restaurants Turkish, Italian and Asian which you can visit each once during your stay these were also good. There is entertainment on every night in the ampitheatre from about 7.00, its for the kids until 10.00 then more adult after some good some not so good. There are kids clubs during the day for all ages and grown ups are allowed to join some of the activities.
