You're not giving us a lot to work with here! For the combination of bored teenagers and the need to do something different you could start at http://www.europapark.de/lang-en/c51/default.html and build outwards (you don't have to use the park hotels) but it would mean going DIY.

A hotel with attached waterpark such as Aquafantasy in Turkey?

Hi Wadey, the best holiday mine have had is Lykia World in Turkey. They met up with other teenagers and I didn't see them ;) Not sure how it would be out of school holidays although there might be some who have just taken their GCSE's so could get away early. Another place that mine like is Salou - Port Aventura theme park, water park, beach and shopping in Tarragona and Barcelona ;)

Good luck.

Thanks for the replies so far, I'm going to take a look at the websites. Think a hotel by a theme park may be a good idea, as even my lazy 19 year old would probably enjoy that.

Somebody mentioned a cruise to me, but most of the ships I looked at didn't seem to have loads going on for that age group. I'd heard Royal Caribbean were quite good with lots to do, but then read some reviews and wasn't too impressed.

Thanks again and if anyone has any other ideas then please let me know.

I would second both Lykia World and Port Aventura. :tup Both successful with teens.

Regarding cruises I have been looking into this for teens, The best bet seem to be Ocean Village 1 and Ocean Village 2 although at the end of this year P&O are removing these two for the UK cruise market and they are becoming part of their Australian Cruise Operation. They cruise the Western and Eastern Med (respectively) in the summer and stop at destinations that teens will probably think quite cool (horrible expression !) like French Riviera, Italy, Barcelona, Palma etc

The other two that seem to have things going on for teens are the P&O Ventura and P&O Oceana. Once again good ports of call for teens and these will probably take over the family market from OV1 and OV11 in 2010, so seem to be gearing up to it this summer as well.

I would take some of what you read on the cruise review sites with a pinch of salt as lots of the reports seem very extreme to me. :yikes If they are to beleived I am suprised anyone goes on a second cruise, but it seems in reality most people re-book the next year. :duh
