It's a pain having to wait, I am absolutely desperate to book my summer 2010 holiday, couldn't get away this year so really wnat something to look forward to. This next 10 days is gonna drag something terrible!

Same here I'm not having a holiday this year so I'm eager to get booked up for next year so that I have at least something to look forward to, at least with the delay I will have at least the deposit all paid.

I have prices for Direct Holidays next year, just had a call asking if I want to book because I registered early, they have another 2500 to call yet, but internet bookings next thursday 25th.
The hemera prices, side, turkey have rocketed, 4 september 2010 2 adults double room 14 nights £2122, this year my date this year 4th august 2009 2 adults £1675 thats the best flight 7.40 take off. I bed apartment with free child is £3415 to 16 years
My holiday this for the same time next year is coming in £4330 higher £8330 compared to what I paid this year £4000

Well I have just acme off the phone to Direct Holidays and I have been quoted £2228 self catering to Gran Canaria september 2010 for 2 adults and 2 kids, flying from Newcastle there is no way I am going to pay that when it is only £1275 to go the same time this year that is a big increase, I am going to hang fire until the brochures come out and see if I can get a better price.
£3131 for a family of 5 s/c in Majorca July 2010 flying from Newcastle or £4376 for h/b option with Direct Holds.
I can get an apartment for £600, flights should be no more than £800, transfers £180 so for £3131 s/c holiday would be my DIY holiday INCLUDING spendies. Guess which I'm going to be doing!!!!!
Oh and they're not doing Cala Bona/Cala Millor next year according to chappy I spoke to!

We've already booked Agadir in Morrocco for next Easter, but if the prices quoted on here are typical for the summer, then I think that's the only holiday abroad we'll be having 
How on earth can they justify such big price hikes. We might be better off we all wait & book late, & force them to bring prices down.

Spoke to someone at direct holidays and their brochures are being sent out tommorow, also you are able to book summer 2010 tommorroe aswell. Or so they said!!!!! 
Juat tried Direct Holidays web-site and you cant book summer 2010 on it as I tried a dummy booking for a fortnight in Turkey 2010 and nothing/ziltzh.

We always book as the brochures come out and save a fortune.We booked April 08 for this August 09£2600 it is now nearly£3900!!! Thank god I booked then.
just rang Direct holidays and got a price for Turkey next year,Oh my they are expensive,we shan`t be going there.
