Hi
I'm new here - hope this is ok.
Does anyone know anything about single person holidaying in Spain (or elsewhere for that matter)?
I have a month off work to recover from a minor illness/injury.
I'm looking for a fairly cheap accommodation option in Spain for up to 4 weeks. I can find loads of flights but not much in accommodation line.
Not fussed about region or city, etc. Willing to consider almost anything in accomm.
Never been abroad alone before.
Cheers

If you are going out of season then just go. All towns in Spain have Hostales that charge10-25 euros for a night. These are very rarely fully booked axcept in peak time. Buy (or in typical MSE manner borrow) a Rough Guide to Spain and they will give a list of the ones and charges in the place that you are visiting.
Have you tried a singles travel company? The websites below are companies designed for people travelling on their own.
