If you go to Teama at the bottom of Candolim beach road for breakfast they have Heinz baked beans (or at least they did last time we were there).

Have to say, as much as I really love hot curries etc, I eventually end up missing a good old Sunday roast. I also miss my cat, my bed and my family, not necessarily in that order of course!!

I missed my kids, my own bed and pillow, a home cooked roast dinner and having straight hair (straighteners being ineffective cos of the humidity)! Apart from that - nothing!

 I missed my hair straighteners too lovemyhols, they go everywhere with me! But too many great things to do out there instead, they are a bind. I went frizzy/wild instead and liked it.

Talking of simple food, i too really missed a good roast, and cheese and potato pie. I love spicy food and curries etc but was looking forward to a good ol Brit meal on flight home. They announced it was chicken.... curry! The whole plane groaned!
I missed my garden and British birds, and marmite, and Horlicks.

:) I miss nothing. But of course if it wasn't for my well paid stressful job I wouldn't be able to go - so here's to next time and 6 months hard work!!

I miss, the rain, work, stress, the cost of petrol, the high taxes, cost of beer etc, etc, come to think of it, why do I always feel so relaxed in Goa :?: :rofl :rofl

We are flying H/row to Mumbai then down to Kerela for a week, then back to Mumbai and on to Goa. Can I get decent white wine in Mumbai?
