Would be grateful for any hints, tips, suggestions, do/don'ts for our first trip to Hong Kong. Visiting in January for 6 nights.
Want to experience as much as possible. Whats good to eat - street stalls and restaurants. Where do we go at night for the buzz - bars, markets anything!
Where is good to shop - cheap markets and nice stores. What are the best bargains? What should we be looking for.
Jewellery - can you buy a good diamond in Hong Kong? What sort of prices?
How to travel - Airport to Mongkok - quick and easiest method. Staying at Royal Plaza - any reviews on that would be good.
What should we deffo do?
As you can see, I am rather excited about this trip and want as much help and advice to plan it so we can do as much as possible.
and so you should be excited!
If you go to Aberdeen to see the Jumbo restaurant go across the road into the town itself- you might find you are the only westerner there Its quite an experience.
I see you've already got my trip report link - as for eating I can't recommend Aqua enough, it's really fabulous and the view over the harbour is great.
