Ocean Park- this is near Aberdeen. This has an amusement park which the kids will love and also dolphin and killer whale shows and an aquarium.
The space and Science museums have hands on exhibits
if they are older they may like the history museum- the adults will anyway-it is fascinating and has full scale replicas of houses, boats, streetsetc
The Star Ferry!
Hong Kong Park- this has an aviary which has tree high walkways in what seems to be a tropical rainforest. it also has a playpark
Botanical and Zoological gardens.
I'm sure there is something I have forgotten!
forgot to add- keep a hold of your kids hands on the MTR platforms- 500 people appear out of one train and cross over to another one. Well it seems like that anyway!!The same goes for crossing roads. I have never seen so many people cross at the green man before! We have already decided that we will both have mobiles with us just incase we are parted!( one excuse the other half won't have! )
thanks for the reply, they would be 9 and 6 i'm just thinking ahead to 2007, sounds good, i wouldnt like dolphin/whale show , but everything else sounds good. i would also love to hear info from anyone who has visited disney whilst there.
I'm with you re the shows by the way! It is the number one attraction for kids(pre Disney) so I had to post it!
thanks for that fiona
I don't have kids but to be honest if I had I am not sure I would take them to Hong Kong I am not sure I would stop watching them Hong Kong is so busy that its hard to get through the growds on your own looking out for kids would have been a nightmare for me..Also the heat and smog make it not very comfortable. But I guess everyone has a differant take on it...
