Plenty to do at the hotel but not a lot outside, if you want to get out then catch the free bus from the hotel to the centre. You can't go wrong here.
It was a really nice hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very big and have large well furnished balconies. Try to get a room overlooking the pool on the sunny side.
The pool is beautiful and there appeared to be lots of sunbeds. The gardens and surrounding areas were well kept and very neat and tidy.
The views over the sea are really great but it is a bit isolated. As stated before there is a courtesy bus into town but there is not much in the vicinity to do in the evening. There are three or four restaurants within walking distance. We tried them all and they were all very good.
We booked this independently through expedia and got really excellent prices and we hired a car from Faro airport. We are planning to go again later this year for a winter break.
