ie entertainment
how far to cala n forcat and cuitadela
What are rooms like are kids well catered for etc etc
Any info would be welcome
It ids in cala n blanes
we stayed here a few years ago. the hotel was very good, they were very strict about only having food in the dining room which is a good thing, we didn't see many creepy crawlies.
the pool at the hotel i found the shallow end still to be very deep( only 5ft 1 ) so if your kids are young be careful. there is a little beach/cove just 2 mins down the lane.
we used to stroll into cala forcat everynight quite a pleasant walk.
there was entertainment everynight and our kids seemed to enjoy themselves.

Has anybody got an update on the villas being built next the hotel as we go there in 2 weeks
Also what are the all inclusive drinks like as there have been a couple of derogatory posts about this and as the holiday is cost a good wedge of money I would like know

Yes to both and they are the sort of negatives I mean
I am not a big drinker but one of the posts talks of drinks being watered down with what sounds like tap water
All I want to know is are the drinks crap or what

I went and visited this accom in may and they were doing the foundations of the villas then. In my opinion i dont think it will cause a major disturbance and you will have a great holiday
Came back from hotel last week and had a great time.
The drinks weren't strong, eg you noticed the difference in the wine when you went out of the hotel to a bar but on the whole ok. I must admit i thought the drinks tasted salty towards the end but then i only drank water and soft drinks.
There's no problem with the building works, no work took place in the two weeks we were there at all. Site is screened off with flimsy mesh but didn't spoil holiday one bit.
Downside to the hotel is the noise level at night!!!
Hired a car but found fc the dearest so worth checking the information book on reception!!
Sure you'll have a great hol.

Went on the Hotetur website to get the address etc for this hotel but it isn't listed
Has it changed hands and if so who now owns it and have they made any changes to the all inclusive
We have stayed Hotetur in Majorca and found it to be good that is why I booked the Cala n' Blanes through first choice.
Any info would be appreciated

It is still owned by Hotetur! We went at the end of June.
I found the drinks fine, its the first hotel in Spain I have stayed in that has branded beer on tap! good ol' San Miguel!
We hired a car for £23 at Mar Y Mar. Its about 5 mins walk as if you are going into Forcat. Exploring Menorca by Car is a must! Some of the most beautiful beaches can only be found this way!

We've stayed at Hotel Cala'n Blanes on three separate occasions and always found it to be excellent. Sunbeds and parasols can be a problem occasionally but you'll find the same anywhere you go. Staff are very helpful. Drinks are exactly what you would expect for an all-inclusive. The entertainment is really geared for the kids. The cove is fantastic albeit a bit crowded sometimes. Nice place with a lot of fond memories.

Im going to this Hotel in May this year, with my husband and small son aged 4.
I booked this hoilday through first choice, and is sounds great , perfect for us 3.
But i have read some reviews , that have left me a bit unsure,
Has any one been there of late. or been last year
can you give me any good advice or info
on the hotel and resort, etc, so the 3 of us will have a great time.
Especially having a 4yr old child with us.
Cheers
