Have not stayed in Canyamel but day visit quite often, its a ten minute drive from Cala Millor and just a small resort with a lovely beach with a few beach side bars. Canyamel we found to be nearly all German but a very nice resort and you can get the boat to Millor or Cala Rajada for a day visit but Rajada is 99% German as well, so if you do not mind this you will enjoy the resort as a relaxing place to stay. A good golf course is at the junction of the main road and Canyamel bay road if you are into golf. best of luck,
