can any body give me an update on this hotel as i've just booked tonight and then read the reviews ------panic :yikes, there havent been any reviews lately so hopefully things have improved, any info would be gratefully recieved

Is the Hotel Flamingo in Torremolinos?

We are staying there on 21st Sept so ill put a report on when we return.

Ive looked around this hotel when we were in costa del sol it looks ok.

Reports on here some are good some are bad.

I stayed there in July for 1 night and am doing the same on 14th September 2005. For the price it is good value but it is not a high grade of hotel. The pool area was a bit cluttered with Rubbish. Having said that, there were 2 Stag groups and 1 Hen group, so what can you expect. Unless you have paid a lot for it, you should find it calue for money and close to everything.

We stayed at the Hotel Flamingo for a couple of nights late July this year. It was a great short break in typical 3 star standard accommodation. Bedroom was very comfortable and food - we were on all inclusive option - better than usual in a 3 star hotel. Staff throughout hotel very pleasant and helpful. Pool small and crowded - we thought too much space taken up with lilos and inflatable giant rings! Evening entertainment only average although entertainment reps great with kids. As the hotel is only an hours drive from us we will undoubtably return again - as long as we get a great last minute deal like we had in July.

Anyone been lately? If so, what can I expect? I'm only visiting my dad for 3 nights early December so don't need a palace but by the same token, it has to be reasonable.... Thanks in advance

we re stay9ing there in feb 2007 - was due to stay at torremolinos bech club - because husbands had heart transplant and we have to be careful about bugs - read too many reports stating bugs there - can anybody help with this one whats it like
