We opted to stay half board at the Rising Star, Protaras.
What sort of meals do they do? Is it mainly English stuff or do they do Cypriot stuff too. Beginning to wish we'd done SC as I think we'd get more variety this way.
Anyone stayed here who can shed some light for me please.
Hi CMT, we have stayed twice at rising star, we were sc both times but did a few days half board the first year, you can buy 3 days hb but they have to be consecutive days. The first year we went the hb was fantastic you basically got to choose from the full menu, steaks etc as well as traditional cypriot food and it was lovely, the same with breakfast you could order what you wanted from the menu. The second year the sytem seemed to change and it was set menus but from what i remember there were cypriot dishes as well, the breakfasts that year were also buffet style. They also do special nights which are part of the hb option oryou can purchase on the night and they were very good eg cypriot night ,international night etc but my favourite was cypriot night, they also puton themed entertainment. I loved it there and would love to go back, possibly october this year, enjoy.
Thanks caits, that sounds wonderful.
