If your still looking in. Did you use the facilities of the beach club and the other hotel as well or just stay at the Galeon Playa? Do you have to get a mini train to these or can you walk? Sorry for all the questions.

The Galeon is next door to the San Miguel Hotel (alos known as the Cartago Hotel). You can get from the Galeon to the SM beach club and hotel by walking down the rocky cliff path, or by going out of the front of the Galeon and turning right to the San Miguel hotel then go down to the ground floor for the pools and entertainment. Both are only about a two minute walk, so unless you are really lazy the mini train will not be required. (the reception for SM hotel is on the eigth floor due to the hotel being built into the side of the cliffs)
I've only stayed in the San Miguel hotel so can't comment on the Galeon, but we did pop up there and it is much quieter than the SM hotal and beach club. A lot of guests from the Galeon spent all day using the beach club and hotel, as this is where the action takes place.
We're back at the SM hotel this year on 24th June (yipee only 30 days to go) for the third time. You will not regret booking this resort.

Thanks Mick, I am getting some good feedback on this complex. The Galeon might suit us, as it sounds like its the best of both worlds with it being quite, but you can get to the action of the Beach Club, and other hotel quite easily.

I'm still undecided, went to Ibiza 11 years ago, but to a different part, and it might be nice to have a short flight for once instead of Greece/Turkey/Egypt etc where I feel like we are on the plane forever.

has anybody stayed at this hotel in 2006? The only review on here for it is from 2004. Some friends of mine have booked to go and are now worrying that they've done the wrong thing (as they do every year when they book a holiday!). They are a couple in their early 50's. Any information about the hotel and the resort would be much appreciated.

we been to this hotel via first choice for 3 years running but first choice now merged with thompson and the price has rocketed ! its a great place and was good value but the price has gone up by almost £500 unfortunatly we wont be goin next year shame.

You could try booking directly with the hotel, this might work out cheaper
