If you are staying at the San Lorenzo Studios it is quite a climb. I have posted a photo of 'The Hill' going up from the main road in the Kefalonia photo gallery. ( Nice apartments though ).

We have stayed here twice, once in the hotel before the pool was built and later in their apts. on the top floor. Its quite a level walk to the beach area but the beach is accessed down quite a few steps.
