After deliberating we opted for the magnolia on the basis that it has a pool however it is probably a bit further from the main nightlife than I would have liked but taxis arent that expensive.

On that note does anyone know of any good nightlife in the area of the hotel ? The nearest bar ive drunk in to it is the Seven seas. I know when I stayed at the cesars apartments a good few years ago we had to make the long trek to queen vic texas etc with no stops on the way !

We stayed in the Alexis last August which is a stone's throw from the Magnolia.

The nearest bar we drank in ( not that many as we were AI) was....The Seven Seas......

There are a few bars down the hill on the seafront but very few in that area. Don't forget you are a short walk from the circular bus service if yoiu want to get to the other end of town.
