has anyone been to the hotel pacific in san antonio if so could you please let me know what it is like

i have been reading the reviews of this hotel and I was wondering if anyone could clarify some things for me about it??

Is it worth the money going HB in san antonio?

Is being next to the big egg and a block away from club eden a good thing?

About the location : It really depends on what you want, if your there on a drinking holiday or not, if you are there for the West End and Clubs then you will probably find the location great. Its a very noisy area and is 24 hours a day and most that go partying in that area are youngesters, between 16 and 25, although there is a mixed age range overall.

i don't think balearic jobs knows where the pacific is. it is far from the west end and actually backs on to open countryside. obviously i can't comment on the type of guests in the hotel but i would say that there may be some construction noise as the new san antonio bus station is being erected 200 ish metres away.

interestingly, it is part of the azuline hotel group which is doing wonders renovating its other hotels in the area and the pacific recently received a prize for the best new facade of a building in san antonio.

I read it got renovated for the start of summer 06. It has great reviews. The only concern I has is that guests say the rooms have thin walls. However I was in ayia napa this summer and stayed next to the monastrey next to all the clubs and the nosie never bother me.

The price is good but would it be worth spending a little more to ensure I get sleep at night

It's the site concerned who owns the copyright. If you scroll to the bottom of the site it shows copyright etc. The link is fine however.
