Jay Trip ...it looks as if the smoking issue has now been resolved , the manager has responded on TA...it will be good to read future reviews...I understand your comment about it being 'out of your budget' , it is expensive but it's worth every penny ...we went as it was a special trip to celebrate my 50th birthday which was in June(even though we went in November), i would love to go back but i suspect it may be a few years before we do due to it being out of our budget ..there are hotels in Egypt that offer 2 weeks AI for less than we paid for the week at the PLR ...but i suppose you get what you pay for, and thought of a child free hotel is so enticing...watch this space!!
Sorry to intrude ...... not sure how much you paid, but what I can say is that our friends stayed at the PLR last week in August and first week in Sept. They flew from Manchester and paid £1300 each. We were at one if their sister hotels in Sharm over the same period (Royal Grand Azure) and paid more ........ wish we had choosen the PLR!!!

Just booked to go back on 23rd November for a week with the wife, wasn't planning a visit this year but couldn't resist in the end

How lucky are you both !! We were there for the second time in May !!
Weather looking pretty good as well , highs of 26-28c and plenty of sunshine...8 days and counting 
we are really looking forward to this trip , last year we didn't really know what to expect but this year we do, been looking through the photos and getting excited
