This is something I thought when I did my reviews...hotels were getting marked down for something they did not provide. Entertainment in many hotels in the Far East ( even at the beach) is pretty low key, if there is any it tends to consist of a Phillipino band, some kind of cultural show, maybe a lady boy show and a dedicated karaoke bar. In my case entertainment is not something I want from my hotel. The way the HT rating system works means that some of the finest hotels in the area would struggle to get an overall five rating.
