I`ve had a look around and this is the best price I can find as well. Venus is more central. Rialto is at the end of Levante up a hill.I stayed at the Rialto 2 years ago, hotel is nicely decorated and the rooms are comfortable.

Both hotels are owned by Servigroup so should be much the same standard. I stayed at the Rialto a couple of years ago and as Christine said rooms are nicely decorated and the food was good although the hotel is up a slight hill.

If you want a central location then I would choose the Venus but bear in mind that some of the rooms back onto a road which may be noisy - it all depends what sort of holiday you are looking for.

Thanks for your replies all - I'm gutted - Thomson flights are not available for the 3 day duration despite them being advertised on both the Thomson & Portland websites....BMI baby do flights but are awkward times - I may have to reconsider our destination...Thanks again for taking the time to reply xx

venus is a fab hotel the location is superb but i was very disapointed with the food
not as good a varety as in the ambassador or the rio park
