Hotel Selomar

Does anyone have an update on the Selomar's future? I last went to Benidorm in Feb 07 and there was no sign of any renovation work taking place.
I've emailed the owners - Grupo Bali - but have had no reply. I notice its been removed from their website.
Can anyone help please?

Not walked past it for a few weeks but it still looks empty with no sign of the supposed refurb commencing.

Pity really, as I don't know of another hotel that close to the beach.

Just says on another website that the hotel will remain closed as and from 01/01/07 due to renovations
The Spanish have no urgency about them regarding time.

It seems that there is some sort of legal dispute amongst shareholders, meaning that renovation works cannot proceed at this hotel and it will remain closed until further notice.

hi we walked past the selomar 2 weeks ago and it was closed down there were no sign of anyone hope you can find something out

Hotel Selomar, Benidorm

Hi
Can anyone tell me why I cannot book the Hotel Selomar in Benidorm, I can see it advertised but when I try and book it comes up with sorry!
Any input would be great,

We walked passed the hotel nearly every day last week.
There is still no sign of any work being carried out, although the whole hotel has now been encased in a gigantic blue net.

SELOMAR HOTEL

Can anyone tell me if the selomar is open for business? My mum in law is getting different reports from travel agents...some are saying it is closed for refurb....some are telling her it is full????
She has usually booked it direct....does anyone know which TO it would be with for a package deal?

The Selomar is still a shell, we walked past it in August and there was no sign of any work taking place. I belive it has been shut for going on 3 years now. Such a shame as it`s in a lovely spot.
