For lovely views I think you want to stay by the river. We liked the Marriott Resort and Spa- lovely hotel and difficult to think you are in Bangkok. Also worth looking at is the Royal Orchid. And if you really want 5 star big time have a look at the Oriental or the Peninsula. We couldn't afford them but might do one night sometime 
Le Bua has pretty good views of Bangkok as your rooms are over fifty floors up
