1 week tomorrow and I cant wait. There does not seem to be much feed back on the Torre Dorada but I am confident that we will have a great time. This week seems to be dragging.

Would be grateful for advice from anyone who has used Venere.com or Alpha rooms for hotel bookings. I've only ever booked with a TO, but having been badly let down recently, I figured I could'nt do any worse!. I'm looking to book into the Torre Dorada - it'll be a trip down memory lane 34 years after our first holiday abroad. Only hope I'm not dissappointed.

thanks

We booked Torre Dorada through Benidorm Direct. It was a trip down memory lane for us too. Our first holiday abroad 21 years ago was to this hotel and we went back in June with our grandson. It is more for the spanish now and had no english entertainment. Saying that we still had a great time. I must admit though we had forgotton what the hill was like.
I hope Alpa rooms is ok as we have booked the Selomar hotel with them and are due to go on the 3rd January 2006.

Hi saintscully ... if you are interested in booking direct, perhaps you should take a look at the hotel's own group (Servigroup) website for details of rates and availability:

http://www.servigroup.es/ingles/hoteles/detalle_torre_dorada.htm

Alternatively, if you check the Costa Blanca section of our Travel Directory, you should find several accommodation agencies with which you can book this hotel.

Hi saintscully

We booked direct this year with http://www.wintersunshineholidays.com to go to the Rialto which is the same group as the Torre Dorada and found them to be much cheaper than booking with the hotel direct and had no problems. If you look on the DIY forum you will find futher info on all the direct booking agents.

Hope you have a great holiday whoever you book with.

I am staying at the Torre Dorada in March, and need to find out if they have any cot's available (to rent or beg) :-)
I wonder if anyone knows the e-mail address, I have tried to find it but it appears to be the best kept secret in Spain.

Hi,
My wife and I will be at the Torre Dorada Feb/March. This will be our third stay in this hotel. Just in case you are wondering- it's OK. Put a message on the board if you need any further information. Just one thing; it can be cold of an evening in the resort, but the rooms at the Torre Dorada are heated via radiator, and not that tepid or sometimes cold air which is found in a lot of Spanish hotels. I just thought you might like to know because you obviously have a little one to worry about.
Best wishes.
