Hi

Have you thought about Holiday village red sea. We went last year and is fantastic for the kids. It has 2 big water slides nd then in kids pool it has splash park with water jets, slide, a big bucket that fills with water and then tips. Theres loads to keep kids entertained. The food was great, aswell as drink :cheers .
It's in Nabq bay which is quite breezy, which I found good as our youngest was only 2 and I was abit worried about heat. We have stayed at Grand Azure and holiday village is by far better, it may be a bit more expensive, but its worth it........... :D

Yes we did look at that but they only have rooms for 2-3 now which means we would need two rooms and the cost would be too much. No availability at HV Dominican republic and Cozumel is not available until May.

We just want something that will keep both kids happy and then of course we will be happy.

Thanks for your reply

Hi

We are trying HV in Turkey this May, enjoyed it so much last year that we want to try another. I know what you mean about cost as we are a family of 5 when we holiday as my step sun comes with us so it bumps up the cost quite abit as we always have to have 2 rooms.

we like lots of the Turkey hotels too they have some fab waterslides. Wish we could go May half term like we normally do, but have to go Easter this year. Its crazy isn't it that you have to get 2 rooms. We have ended up in Egypt twice now because when we wanted Turkey, just because when we went to book Turkey they said a baby couldn't fit in the room. Mad.

Hi There,

I went to the Hauza beach resort in sharm el sheikh with two children of similar ages. The place was fantastic because not only did it have waterslides, it also had a small zoo a childrens club etc. Have a look for yourself on their own website... Ken

Hi

The Sonesta club hotel in Sharm has some water slides, small ones that are suitable for younger children and also a few large water park style slides.

I have some pictures (probably best to view as a slide show via link in green box) showing the gardens, various pools and slides etc here -

Hope this helps a bit.

There's also the new 5* "Titanic Beach resort" directly on the beach about half a mile further south of the Titanic, loads of slides not as many as the original but it is not open to none guests. Think it opened in Decemberish so reviews will be scant.

Is it called the same? Trying to find it now as it sounds ideal. Any further information would be greatly recieved as we still haven't booked anywhere and are now running out of time.

Thanks

I'm not sure what brochure if any it's in yet, but you can find it on http://www.medhotels.com the first paragraph in the description is wrong though as they are confusing the two. Do a search for Hurghada and its the one at the bottom, it is called the Titanic Beach Hotel. You might find a review soon on TA as someone was going to stay there in Feb. Also if you google earth it is the one they are building (about 4 years out of date) its next to the Melia Pharaoh Hotel.

Like I say its scant and Travel sites are getting the 2 mixed up.

ok great will have a look. I did find one which called itself Titanic beach rather than Titanic resort and it seamed to have a different hotel pic but the same descrption. Just come across this aswell, the three corners Sunny beach that also has a water park. Don't know if its open yet.

Thanks will let you know how i get on with my search

I have had a quick look and I can't get availability for Easter, but can for May half term at a really good price. The Three corners one isn't opening until winter

Good luck, I'd be interested on your views of the original Titanic Nicolaw as were off there this August, more concerned that the rooms have decent Air/conditioning at the moment can you remember??

Also I found this review

Hi

Its a good reviews isn't it? I can see us going there at some point. Will have to see if I can get availability for perhaps one week at Easter.
We went to the original Titanic in July 06 when my daughter was 6 and son 2. They had a fab time on all the waterslides. We really enjoyed our holiday and didn't find the weather too hot at all. The AC must have been ok as I never woke up hot or anything. The disco did disturb us a few times and too be honest its the only reason we would not rush back for a 2 week holiday there which is a shame as we did love it. If you want to know anything more just PM me and I will answer any of your questions.

Thanks for finding this new hotel for me.

Cheers
