I shall be going back in just under 4 weeks now for my 7th time.
Having had a child that was in a wheelchair, i realise that this is of main importance.
There is some information to get you going, this area of Naama bay is where it all happens, but a quiet hotel, all entertainment finishes at 12, and depending where you are - can be very quiet as the walls are very thick and colonial. It is the only hotel in my opinion that actually looks egyptian, other hotels are more or less the same as any other resort/ in any med country.
Hope that helps

thanks for answering me it is for early next year it is me that is disabled not in a wheelchair but find it hard to walk is the Sonesta beach resort the same hotel as the Sonesta beach resort and casino thanks leo
The Sonesta Beach Resort (SBR) is the the same hotel and as Michelle mentions it would be a good choice for a person with disabilities, the majority of the hotel is all on the level.
The hotel is located at the far end of the resort so is slightly further to walk than some other hotels however the walk along the promenade is all level with plenty of resting places if required
You can see pictures of the SBR hotel here http://good-times.webshots.com/album/562328367urtotx?vhost=good-times
There is more info on the SBR in this topic http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=13211&start=200&hilit=sonesta+beach

Yes the Sonesta beach resort and casino is the same one, but please do not get it mixed up with the sonesta club as with walking difficulties would be too far out i feel for you.
Everything you need is in this resort, hairdressers, beauty salons, a bank that offers some of the best rates, a mini bank to access money 24 hrs, a internet cafe, several restaurants, all free except one is 24 hour reservations, and one is al a carte and you pay in there. Also a very good doctor on site, he is open several times a day. A pharmacy across the road and a Mcdonalds, and a 7/11 type supermarket to get your extras from. Very good all inclusive and the food has come on leaps and bounds with themed food nights.
Next door is the Oonas bar and restaurant, very very cheap food if you want a change, they also have the best roof top bar, you can see all over Naama Bay and watch the sun set and sunrise. They have a bar upstairs and sofas to lounge on the floor, with shishas if you are tempted. There is also a shop that sells toiletries, sun-cream etc, herbs and spices. The sonesta has some nice shops as well, most things are priced so need to haggle.
Hope that helps
