Hi all,
New to greece forum. Looking for good 4/5 star hotel for 2 adults and 2 teens age 17 +19. Prefer AI/FB, but more important is hotel which doesn't allow sunbeds to be reserved and a good sandy beach of its own. Any greece island apart from Rhodes as have been there. Like Lykia World in Turkey but been twice and ready for a change. Would appreciate any help as have been searching hotel reviews but towel issue hardly mentioned. Also many beaches stated as sandy in brochure and reviews say mainly shingle.
I'm sure there are some good hotels but which ones? Looking to go early July.
Thanks for your help

towel hater and sandy beach lover!
Try Kings Minos Palace in Hersonissos. They do not like towel wars, in fact they have a sign in reception saying it is not allowed.
If only more hotels were like this. When we were in Egypt the hotel gave out towel to guests as they arrived at the pool. They also cleared them away when they left, even for lunch. This meant a regular supply of clean towels and there was always free sunbeds. At some hotels people reserve them and then go off on trips for the day! This is not just a German thing- everyone does it. It needs stopping!
Towel rant over!
