Anyone considering a rental in Black Isle are near Inverness in Scotland beware of Gael HOmes and one rental in particular. We rented Eaglestone as it was large and had a pool.
It was expensive and the least well equipped rental we ever saw.
Not one game, no books, no DVD or cd .
One draw for us was the piano which turned out to be so in need of tuning it was unusable.
The pool had a split in the skin but we were not told so assumed we could use it. The owner then tried to claim we had done it and withheld our deposit.
There was no cot provided despite asking for one in the booking form. we arrived in the evening with a small baby and no cot!!
The oven was filthy and the fire had not been cleaned.
The telephone numbers we were given in case of emergency , of the 3 two were unobtainable and the other he never answered.
We were given no information regarding use of telephones, television, where to shop etc and no welcome pack...nothing.
Gael homes were a useless when we complained to them.
