Hello
I'm going to Crete in two weeks time, from the UK. Obviously, as Greece is part of the EU there is no 'duty free', so I can't buy cigarettes in the airport leaving the UK. Although this question may seem dumb - can I buy them in the airport when returning to the UK?
I've also heard there is a risk of fake/counterfit cigarettes in Crete...Does anyone have any idea of how to avoid buying these. Are there any safe shops you know, or can I get cartons in the hotel? Would they be safe?
Thanks for your help!
some British brands are not available
the price is the same if you buy 1 packet or 500 packets
