On the 25th of April went online to check on the price of air tickets to Goa, I wanted flights from 30/11/07 to 15/02/08 I came across flights with virgin for 330 pounds each, I immediately booked because 130 pounds of this is taxes so it is a cheap price.
Because I am moving back to wales in 2 weeks there was a discrepancy with my address details and the booking was refused I didn't get the email until this morning telling me this, so I have spent the past 2 hours phoning the bank and the booking centre numerous times, at one time I thought to hell, with this I will cancel the original booking and book online, using a different debit card.
I went back on line to the same booking agent, and the exact flights, times, etc etc were now 458 pounds plus 130 taxes making this 580 pounds each 1160 pounds for the two of us How the heck can the flights have gone up so much in just 36 hours.
Needless to say I carried on holding the phone line for nearly 2 hors to carry on the booking at the original price of 630 for the two of us. It has now been confirmed.

We booked 2 seats with virgin from 26th/12 to 18th/01 cost £780 3 weeks ago My parents tried to book same flights yesderday price now is a whopping £1492 Which means my parents arent comming with us 
ssharonuk, just checked virgin site for the dates you said and the price they quote is £745.90! This is from London to Mumbai.
Sorry ssharonuk, my mistake, put in for two adults, just checked they then came back for 1 person.
