I'd say it was about 6 miles! To be honest I never saw a bus or taxi (although I'm sure there will be) in the whole 2 weeks we were there. We hired (pedal bikes), for 5E each per day (plenty of places that hire them - you'll see them jotted about), and went all over on them.

There are buses, they run about every half an hour. We normally caught the bus round the corner from the Aphrodite Hotel on the sea front and it takes about 20 minutes to get there.
