wow i could never leave my packing until the day before or even the day before that, we dont go until October 2nd, and all our cases are packed, with the exception of a few of my things that i dont want to get creased, but the kids cases are packed, locked, and ive hidden the keys!
44 days...and counting!
NO!!!
Picking my euros up tomorrow, got most of the ironing done , waxed half my legs
The countdown has begun
I have not packed yet , but my son has(yes, he is keen
Just done majority of the Ironing tonight, as Son has sleepover tomorrow night, Im getting eyebrows done thursday, work friday car boot on sunday for a a couple of more euros spending money, hopefully!, then pack Monday as well as celebrating sons 13th birthday (another teenager too cope with :yikes)
Hows your pre hol plans going?
I have all sorts of ideas - going to do this then, and that then....
and I've done nothing!
(Except fret over the baggage handlers strike - if Manchester decide to join in the same dates
as Gatwick then we are up the Swannee..... )
And it doesn't help that hubbys workplace have now changed his payday so he doesn't get paid
until we are already away!
Youngest is plagued with ear infections and yes, he isn't well again - so,doctors at 10.15 today
My mind is just whizzing if I am honest....
Other than that everything is hunky dory!
So, 9 days / 8 sleeps for us - if the baggage handlers allow.....
this baggage handlers strike must be so worrying for everybody who is flying out at that time, it can be so disruptive for all the holiday makers, after looking forward for so long to there well earned holiday....
OMG how many more airports are going to join in!!
Well, I know it makes me sound like a right cow - but I am so relieved that the Manchester strikes
are not going to be on 29th...
I am so sorry for people who will be affected, I really am.
(But, to my shame, I must admit that when I read the dates, the feeling of *phew!!!" was overwhelming! )
Lets hope they can sort something out before the dates given so that nobody gets delayed/flights cancelled.

Normally I travel in jeans and trainers, but I know when I get to Mallorca the temperature at the moment is about 29 in the day, and 19 at night, so I can manage without both whilst I'm there. (Or can I?!?!?) However, if I travel in flip flops, are my feet going to be cold on the plane ?!?! I know that sounds daft, but I hate having cold feet!!
I land at 6am when I get back, so although it will probably be freezing and raining, I've decided I can manage for the short time it will take me to get home. Have thought about taking a pair of socks to put on during the flight?? I know I'll look daft, but I'll be sat down (unless I'm next to the passengers who spend the whole flight walking to the toilet and back!).
So, do I leave them behind (jeans and trainers I mean!)???
hi, i am thnking of taking some socks too to put on on the flight i doubt anyone will see and the aircon is cold i was really cold on 1 flight one time, im thinkin of taking a small blanket with me too we have an evening flight out and a night flight back
18 more sleeps til i'm
Counting down 20 more days before we go
(and take some socks for the flight home - nowt worse than cold feet - it
starts at your feet and spreads right up - well it does with me... )
Just checked the time....
22 sleeps for me
but 16 weeks today until the wedding!!
17 more sleeps
