We went to a WEDDING HERE IN THE uk recently. Champagne on tap all day, and then from 8pm til 2am..... free bar.,...... awesome. It was such a good touch to the day, and kept everyone very.... very happy, ha!
We'd like to do something similar... although I'm not sure funds will allow us?? We are getting married at the Grecian Park Hoelt in May 08. It's been a while since this original post... so anyone any further advice on free bars and proces etc. Thanks in advance to everyone.
I've had to write this post cos hubby's got concussion from falling off the chair laughing at the "average 5 pints" On a serious note. I'd put a bottle of red & white on each table & put a couple of hundred behind the bar- and remember it's your wedding - people should be buying you drinks 
ha ye, a good point thanks. 5 drinks.... that is funny. I suppose it' just gonna be a case of speaking with the hotel staff and seeing what we can sort out. Shame most of em dont allow corkage charges.... so easy to go buy some local wine/champagne and beer etc. Suppose they have to make their money somewhere though eh!

Whatever you decide have a brill time. Like I said it's your wedding- enjoy it & don't stress. My daughter got married in March so I know how stressful it can be. They were totally chilled and had a fantastic day - and if something isn't quite right - who cares?
