its been a while since I went so cant really. However the one connected to the Hilton( with its own entrance) was really first class.
Jasmine's (turn right out of the Hilton and take the first soi on the left) is excellent, or was a year ago when we last visited. Sawasdee, opposite the Hilton is also very good. For high tea, visit the Sofitel at weekends.
I remember that one opposite the Hilton- yes we went a couple of times and it was great.
Excellent menu, lovely food and the staff were very friendly.

We also ate in the Hyatt Regency one evening - pricey for Thailand. It was an Italian buffet night, eat as much as you want. The meal and drinks cost about £40 for 4.
Thanks very much I will make a note of them, a big part of our Thailand stay is eating out and I like to try quite a few different restaurants, we stayed in HH a few years ago and we had 2 great meals at the night market in little local places and the other night ( we only stayed for 3) we ate in our hotel but this time we will be there for 9 nights so fancy trying a few new places, thanks , shirleyv
Jasmines (Dinner) and Sawasdee(Lunch) were both great and very close to the Hilton.
We had an excellent couple of meals at Porn Thrup near the Irish Pub. Our party of 6 were the only people in the place each time but the girls (mother and daughters) made you feel very much at home - well it was their home they lived upstairs. They even had their cousin sing after dinner.
The White Lotus, Hilton was lovely but pricey compared to local resturants.
Swensen's Ice Cream Palour on Petchkasem Road was fantastic and we went their at least once a day.
The Great American Rib Company at Sialom Pavilion also provides a great combi meal- this was the kid's choice.
Have a wonderful time (I'm soooo jealous)

there are a couple of places on the piers worth trying for seafood, and the hua hin brewing company has a very nice bbq, the white lotus at the hilton was really nice with great views over the bay.
Was some great street food in the night market as well
