It's possible that the hotel hasn't received your details yet although the room could be booked.

Well, the booking is dated for August 27, which isn't too far from now, so I think the hotel should have received my details already...

I think i'm going to wait until tomorrow to give the service costumer some time to answer me, and if they don't I'll contact Steve to see if he can help me somehow.

I have never even fort to called the hotel to confirm we are goin 2 benidorm on the 27th aug and also booked with Travel Republic i just printed all the emails off hope you get it sorted

The hotel may not have details of your booking yet. Travel Republic don't book direct with them. They use an accommodation supplier. They usually have rooms on allocation, and only send the individual booking details about 1 week prior to arrival.

I have had this before with other companies,
as Sunaddict says the booking agency do not normally send the final list of name [although they have booked rooms] to the hotel till just before departure , :duh
one hotel i use in Greece often doesn't get the list till 4 days before arrival :que [but being old friends as soon i book I send an e-mail and the automatically reserve my favourite room in the diary room for me :tup

You should receive an Accommodation Voucher from Travel Republic which you can print off.

On that voucher will be the Accommodation Provider name (such as HotelBeds) and also the Accommodation Provider Ref (it's this number which will the hotel will need to locate your reservation).

Most hotels will not receive the individual Confirmation (for reservations made for accommodation only) or Rooming List (where the booking is made as part of a package with a Tour Operator) from the booking agent or indeed Tour Operator until 10 to 14 days before your arrival.

So, it's highly possible your reservation is quite safe - it's just either the hotel has not yet received it or they did not have the correct information to search for it in their system when you called them.

Okay. I'm really greatful for all your advices.

It is my first time with Travel Republic, and I always, always call the hotels two week prior arriving to check that there isn't any problem with the reservation.

But I understand now that this company works a little differently, so I'm so much calmer. It just... I read online of some people that, traveling with Travel Republic, arrived to their hotels and the hotels didn't have their booking! So I guess I overreacted a little.

Still, I'll be watching what they tell me...
