Just booked to go to Iberostar Cozumel on 26th July. Anybody stayed here and have any tips about accommodation etc, I have read the hotel reviews, only 2 but they weren't great and didn't compare to reviews I've read from Americans on Trip Advisor.
Any advice appreciated.

We have also just booked this hotel for next years holiday in May 2007, the reviews on Trip Advisor are excellent, I have no concerns at present and can't wait, but we're off to the Dom Rep in 12 days times for two weeks and then I will be watching out for any help available for our first trip to Mexico.

havent been to IB* cozumel but 3 of their hotels in DR are excellent, I don't think you can go wrong with Iberostar, excellent food, spotlessly clean, found it near perfect.

My husband and I are due to spend two weeks at the Iberostar Cozumel in May and are interested to find out what day trips there are available from the hotel and whether the tour bus picks up from the hotel. We understand from previous reports that we have to make our way to the town which is 18 - 20$ taxi ride each way. Can anyone confirm this or give us any further information

Thank you very much for that link, I have just been checking it out and its fantastic, plenty of pics and videos of the hotel. I haven't yet found anything about tours etc as yet, but I am sure I will be able to find plenty of information. Thanks once again.

Look on the first section that has the general questions etc and if nobody has already posted on what you're interested in just ask- someone is sure to know. My personal recommendation if you don't mind going to the mainland is Coba, absolutely brilliant!!
