We left Costa Sur on Saturday (6 October). For the last few days we only a few of the hotel rooms were still in use. The decorators were already in, getting the place ready for next season! Felt as if we were in the way.

Pouring down this morning apparently , say friends there, with massive seas too. Its also a bit on the chilly side and if it carries on for a few days (as it sometimes does at this time of the year) the swimming pools will drop their temperatures like a stone. I was in Morocco last week and a lake I was fishing dropped by 7c in one week because of a storm.

I'm travelling to Ibiza by ferry tomorrow lunchtime so I've got my fingers crossed for the crossing. I was out sea fishing this morning when the wind and sea changed and a ten minute ride took 30 minutes with waves up to 10 foot high, big waves for an 18 foot boat, scary, John.

Well, I'm sure many of you saw Denia and the local area on TV what with the flooding and storms. I was on the flipping ferry in the middle of it. We had a few loverly days in Ibiza and returned on the ferry. Guess what? Yep another ride on the ferry in a storm. Oh well we are home on the mainland safe and sound, John.
