I *think* the big hypermarkets outside Ibiza Town will sell them. There is obviously a market for gas in Ibiza as some rural locations don't have leccy, or have it now but have not converted appliances.

Failing that there is a camp site just outside of Es Cana. Which is the only one that I know of, but I'm sure there are some more. Its a pretty well established place with caravans so I'm sure they will have the facility.

Most petrol stations on the continent also sell gas cannisters. However if you don't have an empty one to exchange that first fill could be expensive.

to be honest, by the time youve faffed around buying the food, managed to find somewhere that will sell the small camping gas canisters you might as well go for a menu del dia at 7 euros....

not sure that you'd get your stove through customs anyway

Youre talking about the large orange butano canisters - i think that'd be a little excessive - if not impossible to hook up
if youre in san an then i'd try the camp site first - theres a large eroski supermarket just outside san an near there as well next to the guardi civil station

if youre in ibiza town then either lidl's by the mcdonalds near the national police station & the road to bossa or the other large syp down the road

the large butano bottles will last you forever if they are just used for cooking - ive never run out of one using one on our cooker - its always run out when weve used it on the gas fire in the winter

they cost about 12 euros to swap but you have to have one first - or else you have to get a contract
